I am just a city boy who married a horse-crazy girl. I have always had a love of animals big and small. It wasn’t until we moved out to the country with her horse, that I started to appreciate the incredible animals they are.

I had the opportunity to meet Birgitta with Success with Horses and see the transformation proper diet and trimming can achieve. I have found a great respect for these incredible people and animals. They have both taught me so much about patience and meeting the animals where they are at.

I decided that I would take the opportunity to learn the skill of becoming a natural performance hoof care practitioner because I saw the value we can bring into a horse’s life starting with their feet. What I didn’t realize at the time was I was going to vastly improve my horsemanship skills at the same time. I have relished my time learning as much as I can about horses and all they have to offer.
